Description

Engine started, engine running, system voltage over 10.0v, and the PCM detected an unexpected voltage condition on the Variable Geometry Induction Solenoid (secondary throttle) circuit.

Cause and Solution

VGIS solenoid control circuit is open or shorted to ground
VGIS solenoid power circuit is open
VGIS solenoid is damaged or has failed
