Throttle Position Sensor Circuit High Input (Intermittent)
Description
Key on or engine running; and the PCM detected the TP sensor signal momentarily went to a very high value (it spiked high).
Cause and Solution
TP sensor signal circuit is open (an intermittent fault)
TP sensor ground circuit is open (an intermittent fault)
TP sensor signal circuit shorted to VREF (an intermittent fault)
TP sensor is damaged or has failed (an intermittent fault)
