TCC Release Switch Circuit Malfunction
Description
DTC P0716, P0717, P0741 and P0742 not set, engine started, engine running with the gear selector in D4, TCC commanded on, TCC slip speed from -20 to +20 rpm, and the PCM detected the TCC release switch status was open for 10 seconds during the test.
Cause and Solution
TCC Release switch circuit is open between the switch and PCM (the switch should indicate closed under these conditions)
TCC Release switch is damaged or has failed
