A T Brake Switch Sense Circuit Malfunction
Description
Engine started; vehicle driven to over 20 mph with the TP Sensor over 0.02v for 6 seconds, followed by a deceleration period to 0 mph at least 16 times, and the PCM detected the Brake switch signal status was not correct during the acceleration deceleration periods.
Cause and Solution
Brake switch signal circuit or the switch ground circuit is openBrake switch is damaged, out of adjustment or has failedPCM has failed
