Battery Module Temperature Sensor 1 Circuit High Voltage (HYBRID MODELS)
Description
With the ignition ON and the MCM supply-power voltage a minimum of 9.0 V, the battery module temperature sensor 1 output voltage is more than 4.95 V for at least 2 seconds. (IMA system indicator is ON) WARNING: The IMA system uses high voltage (144 V), before servicing turn OFF the battery module switch.
Cause and Solution
Poor connections or loose terminals at the battery module and the MCM Open circuit between the battery module and the MCM (A31) Faulty battery module MCM may need to be updated with the latest software Faulty MCM
