PIN, Cannot Be Programmed
Description
The immobilizer control module controls memory circuit, EEPROM, when a new PIN is written into the memory (during initiating). Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) IMM-121 is stored if there is a fault. Faults causing diagnostic trouble code (DTC) IMM-121 to be stored also cause IMM-112 to be stored. The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is erased when the counter value reaches 254.
Cause and Solution
Fault in control module memory circuit, EEPROM.Faulty procedures when programming.The immobilizer control module is not initiated.The immobilizer control module does not accept or cannot read PIN while initiating.
