EGR Valve Pintle Position Circuit Malfunction
Description
Engine started; and the PCM detected the EGR Pintle signal indicated 10% more than the Desired EGR position with the EGR commanded position at 0% for 20 seconds.
Cause and Solution
EGR solenoid control circuit is open, shorted to ground or to B+EGR solenoid power circuit is open (check the C C 15A fuse)EGR solenoid is damaged or has failedPCM has failed
