EVAP Purge System Fault
Description
ECT Sensor from 40-90ºF and IAT Sensor within 10ºF of ECT at startup (cold engine), engine speed under 2048 rpm, Purge solenoid commanded ON, EVAP Stricter test completed and passed, and the PCM detected too little change in the Fuel Control system.
Cause and Solution
EVAP system vacuum hoses plugged, loose or disconnectedEVAP purge control solenoid is damaged or has failedEVAP purge control valve is damaged
