Description
Engine started; with 3X signals received, and the PCM did not detect a CMP sensor pulse for each engine revolution.
Cause and Solution
CMP sensor signal circuit is open, shorted to ground or shorted to VREF between the sensor and the PCM (intermittent fault)CMP sensor signal wire is routed to close to the Generator, spark plug wires or any other possible cause of EMI RFICMP sensor is cracked, damaged or has failedPCM has failedTSB 02-06-04-008 contains a repair procedure for this code
