Description
The Vehicle System Interface Module (VSIM) monitors the input of the Upfitter Door Ajar Switch Sense circuit and detects an out of range value.
Cause and Solution
(W523) DRIVER DOOR AJAR SWITCH SENSE CIRCUIT SHORTED TO BATTERYVEHICLE SYSTEM INTERFACE MODULE (VSIM)
Circuit Short To Ground
This sub type is used for failures, where the control module measures ground (battery negative) potential for greater than a specified time period or when some other value is expected.
