Description
Power Operated Tailgate Module (POT) checks the signal from switch, motor close. The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that: The switch does not change status. Motor close, reversible run in progress for too long time. The control modules test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of: Closing of the tailgates lock unit is activated.
Cause and Solution
Internal error in switch, motor close.Detach the wires or connector from in the tailgate lock unit.Internal error in motor for closing tailgates lock unit.
