Description
A camera is connected to the parking assistance camera (PAC) module. This camera is supplied power by the parking assistance camera (PAC) module. A diagnostic trouble code is stored if the ground terminal is short-circuited to supply voltage or if there is an open circuit. The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that: The cable to the camera has an open circuit or is short-circuited to voltage. The control modules test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of: A gear other than reverse is engaged. Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.
